About Your Provider

PELVIC HEALTH SPECIALIST

LAURA NICE DPT, NCPT

Hi! I’m Laura (she/her), Doctor of Physical Therapy and Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist. I am passionate about women’s health and inspired by the stories of the women I treat. I believe that women deserve more. I strive to offer a higher level of care to meet their needs.

I enjoy working with women across the lifespan to address pelvic floor dysfunction and whole body wellness. As a mother of 2 boys, I understand how hard it is to find the time and money to take care of your self. I hope to ease your journey. I believe women should not only survive, but thrive throughout all phases of life. Join me in the path to optimize your wellness.

My Background

I began my journey to physical therapy as a curious yogi and an outdoor enthusiast. In my search for a deeper understanding of the human body and mind, I applied for PT school. I graduated from the University of Utah in 2013. Soon after, I began working in a women’s health clinic. I enjoyed helping women who were frequently dismissed by the traditional health care model. I went on to work in a variety of settings including sports and orthopedics. I also served as the physical therapist for a professional ballet company. My interest in women’s health was reignited after giving birth to my first son. Feeling unequipped for birth and recovery, I sought to learn more. Many courses and providers later, I found the tools I needed to prepare for the birth and recovery of my second son. I hope to share this knowledge and treatment with women to optimize their pregnancy and postpartum experience. In addition to treating the perinatal population, I also love the challenge of working with complex cases and pain that no one has been able to adequately address. My sessions incorporate mindful movement, hands-on care, and education. I address the whole body to empower women to heal.
